Founded and developed a youth-led cultural platform in Leuven, creating space for young makers and organising more than 40 activities in collaboration with local partners.
What I did
- Founded the platform and developed its structure, identity and activities together with a young organising team.
- Took overall responsibility for administration, bookkeeping, meetings, communication and material management.
- Coordinated more than 40 activities, including festivals, book presentations, film nights, parties and other cultural events.
- Worked with local organisations, venues, artists and young makers to develop and deliver activities.
- Coordinated planning, practical production, communication and team responsibilities across individual projects.
- Built a community-driven structure centred around collaboration, experimentation and shared ownership.
- Helped establish a sustainable partnership with JH Sojo, where the platform was later housed and integrated into the youth centre’s operation.
